Takes less than 5 minutes — all you need is a soft measuring tape.
Before you start: Use a soft fabric measuring tape (not a metal ruler). Stand straight with feet together. Wear form-fitting underwear or a thin top. Have a friend help if possible — it makes it easier and more accurate. All measurements should be in inches.
01
Bust
The fullest part of your chest, measured horizontally all the way around your body.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest (usually across the nipple line)
Keep the tape parallel to the floor — don't let it dip at the back
The tape should be snug but not tight — you should be able to slide one finger under it
Breathe normally (don't hold your breath)
02
Waist
Your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above your belly button.
Bend to the side — the crease that forms is your natural waist
Keep the tape comfortably snug (not sucked in)
The tape should remain level all the way around
Don't measure over thick clothing
03
Hips
The fullest part of your hips and seat, measured around the widest point of your lower body.
Stand with feet together
Find the widest point — usually 7–9 inches below the natural waist
Wrap the tape fully around, keeping it parallel to the floor
Don't pull the tape too tight — your dress needs room for you to move
04
Height
Your full standing height, measured from the top of your head to the floor.
Stand barefoot against a flat wall
Stand straight with heels together touching the wall
Look straight ahead (not up or down)
Mark the wall at the top of your head and measure down to the floor
Tell us whether you plan to wear heels — we can adjust the hem accordingly
